As the end of the calendar year approaches, the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) receives many time-sensitive requests to review and sign research agreements from corporate sponsors. Many companies conclude their fiscal year on December 31 and may require financial contracts to be fully executed before the new year.
Investigators and departmental research administrators should route to OSP as quickly as possible all requests for corporate research agreements and note any urgencies in MyFunding. This will allow maximum time for review and negotiation and to ensure that the requested timelines are met.
